Palm Springs

Palm Springs is an upcoming romantic comedy directed by Max Barbakow, who is known for his short films and documentaries that include Mommy, I’m a Bastard!, Destiny and Cuddle Buddy. Palm Springs is Barbakow’s first directorial feature, which made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival on 26th January this year. It is written by Andy Siara (Grill Dog, Lodge 49) and Barbakow.

Palm Springs stars Andy Samberg (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Saturday Night Live, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping) and Cristin Milioti (The Mindy Project, Black Mirror) in the lead roles.

While stuck at a wedding in Palm Springs, Nyles (Andy Samberg) meets Sarah (Cristin Milioti), the maid of honor and family black sheep. After he rescues her from a disastrous toast, Sarah becomes drawn to Nyles and his offbeat nihilism. But when their impromptu tryst is thwarted by a surreal interruption, Sarah must join Nyles in embracing the idea that nothing really matters, and they begin wreaking spirited havoc on the wedding celebration.

Palm Springs also stars such talent as J. K. Simmons (Whiplash, Justice League), Peter Gallagher (American Beauty, The Good Wife), Meredith Hagner (Brightburn, Search Party) and Tyler Hoechlin (Supergirl, Teen Wolf), and will be available to watch on Hulu on Friday, 10th July.
